(Summary description)The review meeting of 12 cotton textile standards was held recently in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. The experts reviewed the drafts of 7 industry standards and 5 group standards. The industry standards are: Pure cotton Skewered yarn, pure cotton skewered yarn, cotton and recycled cellulose fiber blended yarn, bobbin dyed nylon stretch yarn, Cotton Modal fiber Blended yarn and polyester filament interwoven double natural Fabric, recycled cellulose fiber yarn and polyester filament interwoven Natural Fabric, cotton strong twist natural crepe; The group standards are: "Dyed yarn with Recycled cotton", "Jet Swirl Spun polyester Lyser Fiber Blended Natural yarn", "ring spun polyester Lyser fiber Blended Natural yarn", "ring spun polyester acetate fiber blended Natural yarn", "Test Method for physical and chemical Properties of natural fabric". After the meeting, each standard drafting unit will further modify and improve the standard according to the expert opinions, form the standard draft and submit it to the standard committee for approval.



Wang Guojian, deputy director of Science and Technology Development Department of China National Textile Industry Council, said that there will be four changes in China's textile standardization: one is to realize standard supply from government-led to both government and market; The second is to realize the transformation of standard application from industry and trade to economic and social whole; The third is to realize the transformation of standardization work from domestic drive to domestic and international mutual promotion; The fourth is to realize the standardization development from quantity model to quality and benefit; Promoting standardization work to digital, network, intelligent transformation, will bring important opportunities for textile standardization.
